Three days of degree ceremonies for Bolton Uni students produced good media coverage for honorary awards to cousins, Bolton-born boxer Amir Khan and former England and Lancs cricketer Sajid Mahmood. There was also a degree for former Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan – all covered on BBC, ITV and Sky TV.
